How it works

Complete the full program to receive up to $20 AUD in vouchers.

Connect & get set up

Connect at least one supermarket account, complete your first sync, then submit the onboarding survey and a screenshot of your Connect tab.

Use Recipe2Shop for 5 weeks

Keep your supermarket account connected for the full five (5) weeks and use Recipe2Shop as you normally would.
Sync after you shop to keep your insights up to date.

Complete the program

At the end of the five (5) weeks, we’ll email you a short final survey about your experience. Complete the survey to finish the program and receive your remaining reward.

To join the program, you’ll need to be in Australia, have an active Recipe2Shop account, and have a Woolworths and/or Coles account that you can connect to.

Curiosity Unleashed!

  • You’ll be testing Shopping Insights (“Aisle Tell You”) and our Retail Account Connect experience.

    By connecting your Woolworths and/or Coles account and syncing your purchase history, you’ll help us see how useful and accurate the insights and savings tips are, while also helping us improve the reliability of account syncing.

  • To qualify as a tester, you will need to:

    • Have an active Recipe2Shop account

    • Have valid accounts with Woolworths and/or Coles

    • Reside in Australia

  • As a thank you for taking part, you’ll receive up to $20 AUD gift card once you’ve completed the user testing program requirements.

    Just complete your setup, stay connected during the testing period, and submit the final feedback survey — then we’ll send your reward.

  • The program will run for 5 weeks. However, we don’t need you to check in daily:

    • Get set up: Create your Recipe2Shop account, connect at least one supermarket account, complete your first sync, and submit a short screen recording.

    • Use Recipe2Shop as normal: Over the next 4 weeks, keep using the app whenever it’s useful to you. For fresher insights, sync your purchases after you shop.

    • Share your feedback: At the end of the 4 weeks, complete a short survey about your Shopping Insights and overall experience.

    • Receive your reward: Once you’ve completed the setup and final survey, we’ll send you your $20 gift card.

  • Any recordings you share will only be used by the Recipe2Shop team to troubleshoot issues and improve the app. They won’t be shared publicly or with third parties.

    Please make sure your recording doesn’t show any personal or sensitive information, such as passwords, credit card details or unrelated private content.

Recipe2Shop User Testing Program Terms and Conditions

Introduction

The Recipe2Shop User Testing Program (“Program”) is provided by The U Group & Co Limited (ABN 68 610 817 831) (referred to herein as “Recipe2Shop,” “we” or “us” or “our'').

These Terms and Conditions (these “Terms”) govern your participation in the Program. By participating in the Program, you agree to comply with these Terms, the Recipe2Shop Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please refrain from participating.

Purpose

The purpose of the Program is to help us test and improve the Recipe2Shop Shopping Insights (“Aisle Tell You”) and Retail Account Connect functionality.   

Recipe2Shop Retail Account Connect is a feature that securely connects your Recipe2Shop account with your online accounts with various service providers and vendors, such as Woolworths and Coles (each, a “Linked Account”), allowing you to receive personalised shopping experiences such as smart sales alerts, recommendations on lower cost equivalent brands and predictive restock estimates.

The Program aims to collect user feedback and screen recordings to improve the functionality and user experience when using the Retail Account Connect feature of the Recipe2Shop mobile application (“App”).

Program Eligibility

Participants must have a registered and active Recipe2Shop account without any record of Fraudulent Activity as defined in the Recipe2Shop Terms and Conditions.

You must also:

  • Have a valid account with one or more Retail Account Connect retailers (Woolworths and Coles).

  • Reside in Australia.

Participation Responsibilities 

By participating in the Program, you agree to help us test the Retail Account Connect connections with retailers by doing the following:

  • Connecting at least one of your retailer accounts (Woolworths and/or Coles).

  • Reporting any visible errors or unusual messages while using Retail Account Connect.

  • Providing occasional written and/or verbal feedback regarding your use of Retail Account Connect upon our request.

  • Keeping your retailer accounts active and connected through the Retail Account Connect feature.

Participation Rewards

The Program will run for five (5) weeks, with rewards issued across two participation milestones.

After connecting at least one retailer account, completing your first sync, submitting the onboarding survey and providing a screenshot of your Connect tab, you’ll receive your first $10 AUD voucher.

Keep your retailer account connected for the full five (5) weeks and complete the final survey sent by email to receive your remaining $10 AUD voucher.

Feedback Use Rights (License)

By participating in the Program, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty‑free and sublicensable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, translate, create derivative works from and otherwise exploit the Feedback for operating, supporting, analysing, improving and developing our current and future products and services. “Feedback” means any survey responses, comments, ideas, bug reports, diagnostics, logs, usage data, support communications, screen recordings, screenshots and other submissions you provide to us under the Program.

Privacy and Confidentiality

Any Feedback submitted through the Program will only be used internally by our Product and Engineering teams for troubleshooting and feature improvement. To the extent Feedback contains personal information, we agree to process it in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect Feedback from unauthorized disclosure, including implementing access controls. We retain Feedback for as long as needed for the purposes of the Program, then delete or de‑identify it.

Qualified Recordings will not be shared publicly or with third parties.

Termination; Changes to the Program

Recipe2Shop reserves the right to suspend, terminate or modify the Program or terminate your participation in the Program at any time at our discretion. If we terminate your participation in the Program, we will notify you.

Program Users may withdraw from the Program at any time by contacting us at contact@recipe2shop.com.

Limitation of Liability

Recipe2Shop shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your participation in the Program. Our aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Program will not exceed the greater of AUD $20 voucher rewarded to you under the Program during the three (3) months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Governing Law

Unless otherwise noted, these Terms are governed by the law of Western Australia, and you irrevocably and unconditionally submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia in the event of a dispute regarding these Terms.

Nothing in this clause: (a) prevents us from commencing proceedings in any jurisdiction we consider convenient to enforce our rights and protect our interests; or (b) entitles you to object to the jurisdiction of an otherwise competent court in relation to any such proceedings.

Changes to these Terms

Subject to any notice obligations under applicable law, we reserve the right to revise these Terms at any time upon provision of no less than 30 days’ notice to you by posting changes on the Recipe2Shop website at https://Recipe2Shop.com or by updating the App to incorporate the new Terms.  All revisions are effective immediately when we post them.

We recommend that you check these Terms periodically so you are aware of any changes, as they are binding on you. If you do not agree to these Terms or any changes to them, you should immediately cease participating in the Program. Your continued Program participation following the posting of revised Terms means that you accept and agree to the changes.

Acceptance

By participating in the Recipe2Shop User Testing Program, you confirm your acceptance of these Terms.
